Bento MCP

Bento Engine · Advertising & Marketing Platforms

MCP ServerVendor

Bento Engine's MCP layer, announced October 7, 2026, gives AI agents secure, real-time access to Bento's compliant, multi-format advice content: the "Moments That Matter" life events and age-based milestones Bento already delivers to advisors. Suggested uses include pre-populating client meeting decks, surfacing personalized advice in client portals, driving retirement-plan engagement, supporting advisor- and client-facing chatbots and personalizing outreach campaigns at scale. Every interaction runs through the compliance, governance and approval workflows firms already use, with enterprise control over which agents access which content and in what context. Bento already embeds by API into nine wealth CRMs: Salesforce, Redtail, Wealthbox, Tamarac, SS&C Salentica, Microsoft Dynamics, Practifi, XLR 8 and HubSpot.

Caveats

  • No public endpoint, install command, tool list or developer documentation is published. The launch announcement describes the MCP layer but no connection details, so hosting and connection details are unconfirmed; access comes with a Bento Engine subscription. Treat any config snippet not from Bento itself as a guess.
  • Vendor-verified only. Everything here comes from Bento's own launch announcement and has not been independently tested, including the compliance, governance and approval-workflow claims.
  • Bento Engine customers only. The MCP layer sits on top of Bento's existing content and technology platform, so a firm must be a Bento subscriber before any of this applies.
  • Read versus write scope is unstated. Content delivery suggests read-only access, but the announcement does not say whether agents can trigger sends or campaigns, so confirm what the tools can do and start with read-only scopes.
  • The content grant is as wide as the Bento library your firm licenses, and agent access is governed by Bento's enterprise controls. Audit which agents can reach which content before connecting.

How to connect Bento MCP

Step 1

Check the vendor's documentation

This listing does not publish a public endpoint or install command yet. Open the vendor documentation above for access details, then follow the general steps in our connection guide.

Step 2

Authenticate with Enterprise

Access is provisioned by the vendor or your firm's administrator. Ask your account team for MCP access, sandbox credentials and the allowed data scopes.

Step 3

Verify, then widen access

Restart your client, confirm the server's tools appear, and run one read-only question first. Keep client-side approval prompts on for any tool that can write, trade or send. Confirm with your firm's compliance policy before connecting systems holding client data.

Campaign performance review (no changes)

A plain-English read on what's working, with recommendations only.

Growth (Prospecting + Marketing)Advertising & Marketing PlatformsCRM

Read-only: summarise the last 30 days of ad performance across my connected marketing platforms, spend, leads, cost per lead and trend by campaign, then match those leads against CRM to show which ones became qualified opportunities and their stage. Report cost per lead alongside cost per qualified opportunity by campaign, and name any campaign where platform-reported leads do not appear in CRM at all. Recommend up to five changes ranked by expected impact, but do not pause, edit, create or fund any campaign and do not update CRM.

Guardrail · Read-only. Never let a tool change budgets or campaign state automatically.

Draft follow-ups for stalled leads

Draft messages you review before anything is sent.

Growth (Prospecting + Marketing)CRMAdvertising & Marketing Platforms

Using read-only CRM data, list leads with no activity in the last 21 days, then pull each lead's original campaign and engagement history from my marketing platforms so the follow-up references what they actually responded to. Draft a short, compliant message per lead. No performance claims, no guarantees, no client specifics beyond what the lead provided. Output a table of Lead / Source campaign / Last engagement / Last CRM activity / Draft. Do not send, schedule or log anything in CRM or the ad platforms.

Guardrail · Draft only. Marketing language may need compliance review before it goes out.
