Wealthbox Connector for Claude

Wealthbox · CRM

MCP ServerVendor

Wealthbox's own MCP connector for Claude, named as a launch partner for Claude for Financial Advisors on September 14, 2026 and carrying prebuilt advisor skills. It is listed in Anthropic's connector directory as Anthropic verified with the connector URL https://mcp.crmworkspace.com/mcp, sign-in required, and 67 tools covering contacts, notes, opportunities and pipelines, projects and workflow templates, tasks and repeating tasks, calendar events and meetings, custom objects and custom field values, comments, tags, related-contact links, and user, team, account and workspace lookups. The advisor-facing use is meeting prep assembled from the client history already in the CRM, follow-up organized after the meeting and written back to Wealthbox, a catch-up read of recent client activity, drafted client communications, and a view of open tasks that need attention. Wealthbox's own help center documents the connection and the vendor points to a September 28, 2026 webinar for firm-level implementation detail.

Caveats

  • Distinct from the separate community-built "Wealthbox" listing in this directory from Fireweed Capital, which is unofficial software Wealthbox did not write, review or support. Keep the two apart when deciding what to connect.
  • Vendor-verified only. The tool count, endpoint and capability list are reproduced from Wealthbox's own pages and Anthropic's connector directory entry. Nothing here was independently tested.
  • Emphatically not read-only. The published tool list includes create and update tools across contacts, notes, opportunities, projects, workflows, tasks, events, tags and comments, so a default connection can write into your CRM of record. Start with read-only scopes and decide deliberately which writes a firm allows.
  • A CRM connection is a wide surface. Contacts, notes and meeting records hold client personal and financial detail, so an agent with this grant sees most of the practice. Audit it as a whole rather than tool by tool.
  • Firm-level implementation detail was deferred to a vendor webinar on September 28, 2026. Per-seat permissions, admin controls and any enterprise gating are unconfirmed here.
  • Written-back notes and tasks become part of the firm's books and records. Review anything an assistant saves into Wealthbox before it stands as the record of a client interaction.

How to connect Wealthbox Connector for Claude

Step 1

Remote server: paste a URL

Wealthbox Connector for Claude publishes a remote (Streamable HTTP) endpoint, so nothing is installed locally. Add it as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT or your IDE and paste the endpoint below.

Endpoint

https://mcp.crmworkspace.com/mcp

Client config snippet

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "wealthbox-claude-connector": {
      "url": "https://mcp.crmworkspace.com/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Step 2

Authenticate with OAuth

Your client opens a browser sign-in with the vendor. Approve only the scopes you need, and use a read-only account first when the platform offers one.

Step 3

Verify, then widen access

Restart your client, confirm the server's tools appear, and run one read-only question first. Keep client-side approval prompts on for any tool that can write, trade or send. Confirm with your firm's compliance policy before connecting systems holding client data.

Prompts that use this server

Starter prompts from the Practice Stacks that rely on CRM.

Build a qualified prospect shortlist

A ranked shortlist of firms or households worth a first call.

Growth (Prospecting + Marketing)Advisor & Firm Intelligence / ProspectingCRM

Read-only: using firm-intelligence and CRM tools, build a shortlist of up to 25 prospects matching <ideal client profile: AUM band, location, niche>. Exclude anyone already in CRM as a client or active opportunity. Return a table of Name / Firm / Why they fit / Source tool / CRM status. Do not create, update or enrich any CRM record, and do not send outreach. Flag any record where the data looks stale or unverified.

Guardrail · Read-only. Verify prospect data at the source before any outreach.

One-page prospect firm brief

A briefing sheet before a first meeting or call.

Growth (Prospecting + Marketing)Advisor & Firm Intelligence / ProspectingCRM

Read-only: assemble a one-page brief on <firm or prospect name> by combining two sources, pull size, services, custodian and platform footprint and recent public news from the firm-intelligence tools, then pull our own history with them from CRM (prior contacts, referral source, related households, open opportunities). Show a Fact / Source tool / Date table and a short 'what we already know internally' section. Cite the tool and URL behind every external claim and mark anything you could not verify as 'unverified' rather than guessing. Do not write to CRM or contact anyone.

Guardrail · Read-only. Treat unverified items as leads to confirm, not facts.

Campaign performance review (no changes)

A plain-English read on what's working, with recommendations only.

Growth (Prospecting + Marketing)Advertising & Marketing PlatformsCRM

Read-only: summarise the last 30 days of ad performance across my connected marketing platforms, spend, leads, cost per lead and trend by campaign, then match those leads against CRM to show which ones became qualified opportunities and their stage. Report cost per lead alongside cost per qualified opportunity by campaign, and name any campaign where platform-reported leads do not appear in CRM at all. Recommend up to five changes ranked by expected impact, but do not pause, edit, create or fund any campaign and do not update CRM.

Guardrail · Read-only. Never let a tool change budgets or campaign state automatically.
