Official server

Does Bloomberg have an MCP server?

Yes. Bloomberg announced Enterprise MCP on September 29, 2026 for licensed Data License Plus content. This directory lists that first-party service separately from an unaffiliated community BLPAPI wrapper; a Bloomberg Terminal subscription should not be assumed to include the enterprise connector.

Bloomberg's own announcement, dated September 29, 2026, and subsequent coverage describe Enterprise MCP as giving client AI applications access to licensed Data License Plus content, over 100 million securities and 50,000-plus fields, with metadata, semantic search and reusable workflow Skills, see https://www.advfn.com/stock-market/stock-news/99388803/bloomberg-launches-enterprise-mcp-to-seamlessly-co and https://itbrief.news/story/bloomberg-launches-enterprise-mcp-for-ai-data-access. This is read-only data access, not a trading connection, and requires Data License Plus entitlement; a plain Bloomberg Terminal subscription should not be assumed to include it.

Start read-only and confirm connection details, supported content domains and redistribution terms directly with Bloomberg before use, since no public endpoint URL, transport or tool list independent of the vendor's own announcement was found in this review.

This is distinct from the unaffiliated community server sometimes labeled 'Bloomberg MCP' that wraps the Bloomberg Terminal API (BLPAPI) for personal or internal use; that project is not written, reviewed or supported by Bloomberg and is a different thing from the enterprise service described here. A listing here is not an endorsement. Start with read-only scopes where supported and keep client-side approval prompts on.
