Does Coinbase have an MCP server?

Yes. Coinbase documents CDP MCP and an AgentKit MCP extension for accessing its developer APIs and on-chain actions. This directory's Coinbase Base / CDP listing is a developer-platform route, not a general feed of every retail Coinbase brokerage account.

Coinbase's primary MCP documentation is at https://docs.cdp.coinbase.com/ai-agents/cdp-for-agents/cdp-mcp, with an AgentKit extension at https://coinbase.github.io/agentkit/agentkit-model-context-protocol/typescript/index.html. These vendor-documented tools were not independently tested here. Confirm the tool set for the implementation you actually deploy; API or AgentKit capability is not a promise that every tool exposes every retail account.

Treat any specific tool list, rate limit or endpoint as something to confirm directly with Coinbase's current documentation rather than assume from this summary, since CDP surfaces evolve. Scope API credentials to the narrowest permission set the job needs, and never point this connection at a wallet holding more than you can afford to lose to a mistake.

This is a crypto-native connection, not a custodian or broker-dealer integration, so standard advisory custody, suitability and supervisory questions about client digital assets sit outside whatever CDP itself enforces. Verify your firm's own policy covers this before any client-facing use.

Start with read-only scopes and an isolated test environment. Require explicit review of transfers and signed transactions. A directory listing is not an endorsement.
