Official server
Does FactSet have an MCP server?
Yes. FactSet publishes a first-party MCP endpoint at mcp.factset.com, documented through the FactSet Developer Portal, covering company fundamentals, ownership, estimates, prices and screening for research and portfolio analysis.
This entry is vendor-documented only; see https://developer.factset.com/ for FactSet's own description and has not been independently tested here. Start read-only and confirm which content sets your firm's FactSet contract actually licenses, since Enterprise auth means access is gated to existing subscriptions rather than open to any FactSet user.
FactSet aggregates estimates, ownership and fundamentals from many sources with its own normalization, so a figure returned through the MCP server reflects FactSet's methodology, not a single primary filing. Check vintage and methodology notes before a number used for client work, and do not assume the MCP surface matches the full breadth of the FactSet Workstation.
No public claim was found about write capability; treat the server as read-only until your firm confirms otherwise. A directory listing of a published endpoint is not an endorsement of FactSet or a guarantee the documented tools match what your tenant receives. Start with read-only scopes where supported and keep client-side approval prompts on.
