Official server

Does Meta have an MCP server?

Yes. Meta hosts an official remote MCP server for managing Meta ads, documented at https://developers.facebook.com/documentation/ads-commerce/ads-ai-connectors/ads-mcp-server/ads-mcp-server-overview, covering reporting, ad creation and management, catalog management, signals and datasets, A/B tests and activity logs.

This server can write, not just read: ad creation and management and catalog management are documented capabilities, so an assistant connected here can change live advertising configuration, not just report on it. Keep any write-capable tool behind explicit confirmation and start with reporting-only use until the connection is proven.

Access runs through OAuth against the connecting account's own Meta Business/Ads permissions, so what it reaches depends on that account's entitlements, not on anything this directory verified independently. Confirm current tool list and scopes directly against Meta's developer documentation, since ad-platform APIs change frequently. This is a research note, not an endorsement. Start with read-only scopes where supported and keep client-side approval prompts on.
