Official server

Does Official MCP Registry have an MCP server?

The Model Context Protocol project operates an official registry at https://registry.modelcontextprotocol.io. It publishes server discovery metadata; the registry's HTTP API is not itself a verified MCP connection endpoint.

This is the protocol-level registry, not a curated editorial directory, so its purpose is machine-readable discovery and publication metadata rather than evaluative coverage of any one category like wealth management. Confirm current scope and the publication spec directly at the registry's own site.

Being listed in the official registry is a discoverability fact, not a vendor endorsement or a security review of any individual server in it. Firms should still evaluate each server's own auth model, data handling and maintenance status before connecting to it. This is an editorial research note, not an endorsement of any server reachable through the registry. Start with read-only scopes where supported and keep client-side approval prompts on.
