Does Orion have an MCP server?

That changes the answer here. A first-party connector uses Orion's own tool definitions rather than a bridge's normalized shape, and access is governed in the Orion Gateway Portal, where a firm administrator sees which MCP tools each product includes, which of them write, and the rate limits and daily quotas that apply. Entitlements come from the firm's product catalog, so two firms connecting the same connector do not necessarily reach the same data.

Two things to settle before you connect. Orion publishes no endpoint or install command, so you enable it from Claude's connector directory and request access through Orion, which means what you get is whatever your firm is entitled to rather than a documented scope you can read in advance. And the connector is not read-only by definition: Orion's own entitlement screens separate read tools from write tools. Start read-only and confirm what your firm enabled.

The Truthifi bridge still exists as a route and is read-only by design, which is a smaller surface if all you need is portfolio and client data in a conversation. It is a third party holding an OAuth grant to your Orion tenant, though, and the first-party connector is not. With the vendor's own connector available, the bridge is the fallback rather than the default.
