Official server
Does QuickBooks Online have an MCP server?
Yes. Intuit publishes an official local MCP server for QuickBooks Online on its own GitHub organization, covering full CRUD across 29 entity types and 11 financial reports.
This is a local (stdio) server you run yourself via npx against Intuit's repository (https://github.com/intuit/quickbooks-online-mcp-server), authenticated with OAuth to your own QuickBooks Online company file. Full CRUD means an agent connected here can create and modify invoices, bills and other records, not just read them, so start with a sandbox company or read-only review of each tool before granting write access in a production ledger used for client billing or firm accounting.
QuickBooks Online is bookkeeping software, not a tax or advisory system, so this connector answers questions about a firm's or client's books, not SEC/FINRA-governed advisory data. Confirm your firm's own data-handling policy covers connecting an AI client to live financial records before use.
Claims here have not been independently tested. Start with read-only scopes where available and keep client-side approval prompts on. A directory listing is not an endorsement.
