Vendor-published server
Does Smarsh have an MCP server?
Yes. Smarsh announced a first-party MCP server alongside AskSmarsh AI on September 16, 2026 for governed communications-archive access and workflows. No public endpoint or setup guide was confirmed, and this directory does not yet have a separate Smarsh server listing.
Smarsh's own description is specific about what the connector reaches: 'a secure, policy-enforced connection between their existing AI tools and Smarsh's communications intelligence data, so compliance teams can query the archive, surface insights, and trigger workflows without exporting data' per the September 16, 2026 press release (https://www.smarsh.com/press-release/smarsh-turns-compliance-into-an-enterprise-wide-advantage-with-new-mcp-server-and-asksmarsh-ai). The release also says interactions are subject to existing role-based access controls and audit logging, which is the vendor's claim, not independently verified here.
Smarsh describes querying archives and triggering workflows, so do not assume the connection is read-only. Request the exact tool list, enabled permissions and audit behavior before connecting an assistant to surveillance or legal-discovery records. Policy enforcement and chain-of-custody claims are vendor-reported, not independently tested.
No public endpoint, auth method or install instructions were found beyond the announcement itself, and this directory has not added a server listing for it, so this answer documents the vendor's own claim rather than a tested connection. Claims here have not been independently tested. Start with read-only scopes where available and keep client-side approval prompts on. A directory listing is not an endorsement.
