Community-built server
Does Wealthbox have an MCP server?
Wealthbox has an MCP server, but it is not Wealthbox's. A community-built remote server from Fireweed Capital exposes contacts, notes, tasks and events, authorized with your own Wealthbox API token.
That distinction matters more here than the word "community" usually implies. You are handing a Wealthbox API token to software that Wealthbox did not write, review or support. It works, and it is a genuinely more native surface than a generic gateway route. It also has no vendor behind it if it breaks, no published security review, and no commitment to track Wealthbox API changes.
The reasonable posture is to treat it as useful and unsupported at the same time. Mint a token scoped as narrowly as Wealthbox allows, know how to revoke it, and do not put it in front of client work you could not reconstruct if the server stopped being maintained.
